In a latest BC PNP draw held on August 25, 2020, total 72 tech workers are invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
In this Tech Pilot draw, the province invited candidates who have a job offers in 29 eligible occupations with an aim to hire and retain international IT workers and fulfill the labour market needs and gaps.
The province invited candidates under Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories with minimum score requirement of 80 points.

With this draw, British Columbia province had so far conducted four draws in August and invited total 863 candidates to apply for B.C.'s provincial nomination.
In this draw, the province invited only those candidates who were registered in any one of the BC PNP's stream and have a prior job offer of at least 1 year in any one of the 29 eligible Tech pilot occupations.
To be eligible to apply under Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories, a candidate was required to create an online profile and register under BC PNP's Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
It is a fast-track immigration pathway for applicants with relevant tech skills and experience. A Tech Pilot solely supported around 4,200 tech workers and nominated them for Canadian PR since its inception in May 2017.
