In a latest program-specific Express Entry draw held on May 13, 2021, the Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship (IRCC) invited 4,147 CEC candidates. All the invitations have been issued exclusively to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates who had scored a minimum of 401 CRS points or above.
With this invitation round, the total number of ITAs issued so far in 2021 through Express Entry has reached up to 66,475. Such large draws have been conducted by the IRCC with an aim to meet its annual target for Express Entry, i.e., to welcome 108,500 new permanent residents by 2021.
