On August 1, 2023, Canada conducted its latest all-category draw under the federal Express Entry System, issuing a total of 2,000 Invitations to Apply for Canada PR visa this time around. These invitations were extended to the eligible applicants from the Express Entry pool who had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 517 points or higher.

In this latest draw the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 2,000 ITAs to candidates with CRS score 517 points or higher. Total number of invitations this year reached to 71,148 with this latest EE draw.

Record number of EE draws in July 2023
In the month of July 2023, the IRCC opened record six express entry draws, out of which, four draws were occupation-specific draws. It will be interesting to see whether month of August 2023 sees the same number of draws or not.
