This program is a community-driven program for immigration purposes and is funded by the federal government of Canada.
The RINP is designed to create a permanent residency pathway for skilled international workers so that the smaller communities can meet their labor shortages and further strengthen the economy.
Through this program, communities get an opportunity to work with employers directly along with the IRCC and create a permanent residency pathway.
Applicants who meet eligibility criteria of a particular community along with federal selection requirements can qualify to lodge their applications.
If you are interested in applying from PR through RNIP in Vernon, then you must meet the federal eligibility criteria first and score minimum CLB level 5 or higher in English or French language.
All the candidates are required to complete an online profile, based on which they are ranked on the Comprehensive Ranking System of Vernon (VCRS).
Candidates are awarded points up to 100 for core human factors like age, education obtained in Vernon, language ability, etc. Once the candidate meets federal as well as community eligibility requirements, his or her profile will enter into a pool.
The committee offers 10 recommendations monthly and 100 recommendations annually to those candidates who meet the community criteria on the basis of Vernon’s CRS.
