In the latest draw BC PNP Tech draw held by the Canadian province, British Columbia, a total of 87 candidates are invited to apply for Provincial Nomination.
The provincial government has not revealed a detailed bifurcation of invitation issued under each category, but the minimum score requirement has been announced, which was 82 points for all the candidates.

The province has extended the BC PNP Tech Pilot to June 2021 to provide all the tech employers in B.C. an opportunity to recruit more international skilled workers during the unavailability of local skilled workers.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot is not a separate category, it is in fact designed to offers an expedited pathway for people for candidates with tech skills to apply for permanent residency of Canada.
The tech sector of the province is a major economic growth driver and there is always a high demand for tech skilled workers.
The province weekly issues invitations to high scoring candidates who have a valid job offer in key tech occupations. Processing times for 80% of the applications is around 2-3 months.
