In a latest BC PNP Tech Pilot draw held on October 6, the Canadian province British Columbia invited 72 eligible candidates to apply for nomination.
In this invitation round, candidates in both Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams were invited with a minimum score requirement of 80 points.

Launched in the year 2017, the Tech Pilot is designed with an aim to help the technology sector in the province to recruit and retain IT workers to help meet the labour market needs.
It provides an expedited pathway for immigration to candidates who have relevant tech skills and can qualify to apply for Canada's permanent residence as well as contribute to B.C.’s average annual growth.
The British Columbia province conducts weekly Tech Pilot draws to invite candidates who have job offer in 29 eligible occupations. All the invited candidates qualify to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR.
The province prioritize applications under 29 eligible technology occupations. Once the employee submits a final application, the file is assigned to the processing team of tech pilot within 1-2 business days.
