In the latest category-based draw of federal Express Entry System took place on March 26, 2024, the government of Canada has issued 1,500 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa to the French-speaking candidates. The invited francophone candidates had the proficiency in French language along with the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 388 points or higher.

Now, after this new invitation round of federal EE System, IRCC has invited total 26,695 applicants to apply for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa in 2024 in overall thirteen EE Draws held until date.
In all category-based draws the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) drop the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement and this draw was no exception as CUT OFF dropped to just 388 points. This is positive sign for the Canada PR aspirants.

In 2024, Canadian immigration department has retained same 6 categories for the Category-based EE draws, which were used previous year. These categories are:
Ø A strong French language proficiency or
Ø Work experience in one of the below fields:

ü science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
ü trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
ü transport
