The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada announced the details of another program-specific Express Entry draw on 23rd July, 2020 within two days time.
Followed by a PNP-specific EE draw which was held on 22 July, this latest draw targeted Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates by issuing total 3,343 ITAs (Invitations to Apply). All the invited candidates are now eligible to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
In this latest Express Entry draw, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement was 445 points.
There is a slight rise of 14 points in the latest cut off score in comparison to previously held CEC-specific Express Entry draw, which was held on 25th June.
A rise in the number of candidates into the pool after all-program EE draw can be a major reason behind an increase in the CRS score.
The Tie-breaking rule of July 12, 2020 at 15:16:55 UTC was implemented to rank candidates in this CEC-specific Express Entry draw.
Thus, all those candidates who had submitted their profiles before the said date and time had obtained their ITAs.

So far in 2020, total 57,700 invitations have been issued by the IRCC through Express Entry programs and is steadily moving towards Canada's immigration level plans 2020-2022.
According to the admission plan, Canada is targeting to welcome total 195,800 newcomers under different Economic immigration categories, including Express Entry, PNP, Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, Economic Pilots, Federal Business class and Quebec Skilled Workers and Business.
