On May 10, 2023, the immigration department of Canada, i.e. IRCC conducted a program-specific draw of the federal Express Entry system, exclusively for candidates with a provincial nomination. In this special draw, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued total of 589 invitations to apply for Canadian PR visa (to PNP candidates only).

To be eligible received ITA (Invitation to Apply) in this particular EE draw, candidates were required to have a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 691 points or above. This was the 12th EE draw of 2023 and EE draw no.248 overall. With the issuance of ITAs in this latest draw, the total number of invitations issued in 2023 (until date) has now reached to 45,148 invitations.
