On March 2, 2022, Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada opened a program-specific Express Entry and issued 1,047 Invitations to apply for Canada PR.
In this draw, the IRCC invited only those candidates who had a provincial nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program and have scored a minimum of 761 CRS points. All the invited candidates have 60 days to submit their complete and final application for a Canada PR visa along with relevant documents and application fees.

This was the fifth program-specific, PNP-only Express Entry draw. IRCC has now issued 3,192 Invitations to Apply for Canada PR to provincial nominees in 2022. As per the current immigration levels plan, Canada will welcome 83,500 newcomers via Express Entry-aligned and base PNP categories by the end of 2022.
