In an Express Entry draw held on May 15, the IRCC had invited a total of 3,371 candidates to apply for Canadian PR.
This is the second draw in nearly 24 hours, followed by 13th May draw, where 529 ITAs were issued to Provincial Nominee Express Entry candidates.
Unlike, the last draw, this invitation round targeted candidates exclusively under its Canadian Experience Class program who had the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 447 points or above.
With this draw, IRCC has continued its trend of issuing ITAs exclusively to PNP and CEC candidates.
The IRCC has now held a total of 10 CEC and Provincial nominee draws so far in 2020 to invite nearly 19,500 EE candidates to apply for Canada PR.
With this latest invitation round, the total number of ITAs issued so far in 2020 has come up to 38,200.
The vast majority of candidates under CEC and Provincial Nominees are already living in Canada and, thus, they don't need to enter the country.
The tie-breaker rule implemented in this draw by the IRCC was of Dec. 23, 2019, at 10:01:06 UTC.
This clearly indicates that all the candidates who had registered their Express Entry profile on or before the mentioned date and time and had score 447 CRS points or above had obtained invitations in this selection round.
