The IRCC announced the second Express Entry invitation round of 2020. In this 135th Express Entry draw held on 22nd January 2020, a total of 3,400 ITAs have been issued to high ranking candidates by the IRCC. All the invited candidates are now eligible to apply for Canadian permanent residence visa.
In this latest draw, the cut-off CRS score to qualify for an ITA was 471 CRS points. There is a fall of 2 points in the minimum CRS score requirement in comparison to the last Express Entry draw s cut off score of 473 points, which was held on 8th January 2020.
Upon receiving an Invitation to Apply for Canada PR, all the candidates are requested to submit their complete and final PR Visa application along with relevant documents to IRCC within 60 days time.
With this second draw of 2020, which was draw held on 22nd January, the total number of ITAs issued by the Express Entry program has reached up to 6,800 so far in the year 2020.
In the latest express entry draw, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has applied a tie-break rule of May 9, 2019, at 01:16:02 UTC. Thus, all those candidates who have scored 471 points or above and have submitted their Express Entry profile into the pool before the said date and time have received their invitations from the IRCC in this regular Express Entry draw.
