In a latest Express Entry draw held on September 30, the IRCC invited 4,200 Express Entry candidates. All the candidates who obtained their ITAs (Invitation to Apply) are now eligible to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
With today's Express Entry draw held by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the total number of ITAs issued so far in 2020 has reached up to 78,350.
However, this was the third consecutive Express Entry draw conducted by the IRCC where Federal Skilled Worker Program candidates were also invited.
If government choose to follow the similar pattern, then there is no stopping in meeting Canada's annual immigration level targets for 2020.
This was an all-program draw and the Federal Skilled Worker Program candidates were also invited among other candidates.
The minimum CRS score in this invitation round was 471, i.e., a fall of 1 point from the previously held all-program draw.
The tie-breaking rule implemented in this draw was March 2, 2020 at 12:37:25 UTC.
This clearly explains that all those candidates who scored 471 points and above and had submitted their Express Entry profile before the said date and time had obtained their ITAs in this latest invitation round.
