The immigration authorities of Canada have smashed all the records by issuing 4,500 ITAs in the largest Express Entry draw, which was held on 19th February 2020.
With this draw, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada have broken its barrier of not issuing more than 4,000 ITAs in a single draw and has also surpassed the previous largest draw record, where a total of 3,923 invites was issued on April 13, 2017.
This draw is clearly one of the largest draws where IRCC has issued the largest number of ITAs since the launch of the Express Entry Program on 1st January 2015.

The 4th Express Entry draw of the year 2020 saw the minimum CRS score dropping by two points, i.e. 470 points in comparison to the previous draw held on 5th February.
While, the tie-breaking rule implemented in this latest draw was of January 13, 2020, at 10:52:52 UTC.
This clearly indicates that all those candidates who have registered their profile in the Express Entry pool on or before the said date and time have received their invitations.
Canada is aiming to welcome over a million newcomers in the next consecutive years and must focus on issuing large number of invitations in upcoming Express Entry draws to meet the targets.
With this draw Canada has issued total 14,800 ITAs so far in the year 2020, which is a comparatively bigger step towards meeting Canada’s high-skilled immigration admission target of issuing 85,800 ITA in 2020.
