In the latest Express Entry draw, IRCC has issued total 3,600 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates who have applied through its Express Entry system. It is the second successive round of invitation to issue total 3,600 ITAs (invitations to apply) for Canadian permanent residence via Express Entry system. But, it has definitely recorded a rise of 250 ITAs in comparison to ten all-program EE draws which were held between 30th January and 26th June with a cap of 3,350 ITAs per draw.
With this draw, IRCC has marked an issuance of total 49,000 ITAs in the year 2019. Canada has increased its admission cap for all 3 Express Entry streams along with its Provincial Nominee Program (PNPs) which are also partially aligned to Express Entry system. It is also expected that IRCC may surpass its last year s record of issuing 89,800 ITAs.
The cut-off score for a 24th July draw was recorded as CRS 459 points, which marks a decline of a single point in comparison to the last EE draw which was held on 10th July with a minimum cut-off score of 460.
Today’s draw has followed a similar trend of encountering a slight fall in the cut-off CRS score with each passing draw. This trend could be a result of regular, two-week interval maintained by IRCC between EE draws since May end. As a shorter interval between two draws means lesser candidates have time to enter a profile into the EE pool.
Similarly, draw size also plays an important role in the CRS cut-off score, as a larger draws lets IRCC to deeply review profile in the EE pool, which results in candidates with even a low CRS score getting an ITA.
