In the latest OINP Tech draw held on July 29, 2020, the Canadian province, Ontario has issued whooping 1288 NOIs (Notifications of Interest) to the eligible candidates under Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.
The minimum score requirement for this round of invitation was ranging between 463 and 477.
In order to qualify for invitation to apply, candidates were not required to have a prior job.
Candidates must have a valid Express Entry profile and minimum 1 year of skilled work experience in any one of the tech occupations listed below:
All the candidates who received their Notification of Interest from Ontario are required to submit their final application for Ontario's provincial nomination within 45 calendar days.
Upon getting a nomination from the province, applicants will automatically get additional 600 CRS points toward overall CRS score.
Such humongous amount of CRS points will virtually get an assurance of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada's permanent residence in upcoming Express Entry draw.
Tech draws are a part of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program and falls under Ontario's Human Capital Priorities Stream. The aim of tech draws is to find workers with relevant technological skills from the IRCC's Express Entry pool.
Through this dedicated draw, the province help businesses functioning in technology sector to recruit and retain international talent.
Upon identifying eligible candidates in the pool, OINP sends Notification of Interest (NOI) in their IRCC account.
