Manitoba province of Canada has issued a total of 354 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination in the draw held on 5th July 2019. With this latest draw, the total number of LAAs had reached to 5,333 for skilled worker immigration candidates.
Candidates who have received LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) fall under the following streams of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program:
All 354 LAAs were bifurcated in the following order:
Streams | Number of LAAs |
Skilled Workers Overseas Stream | 248 |
Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream | 85 |
International Education Stream | 21 |
Candidates who got the highest scores were invited via regular draws under an EOI pool of Manitoba with the minimum score of 565 for Skilled Workers in Manitoba, 594 for Skilled Workers Overseas and 619 for Skilled Workers Overseas: Strategic Recruitment Initiative candidates.
The MPNP allows the province of Manitoba to nominate international graduates and foreign workers from the province s post-secondary institutions for permanent residence in Canada. If a candidate wishes to get a provincial nomination from the province of Manitoba, then he/she must create a separate EOI (Expression of Interest) profile with the MPNP. He/she is then required to meet the eligibility requirements that majorly includes 6 months of work experience in Manitoba s in-demand occupation list.
Once a candidate completes an EOI for any of the MPNP skilled worker sub-streams, he/she is required to enter the information, including their age, education, proficiency in English or French, work experience and their connection to Manitoba. They are then awarded a score on the basis of information provided by them.
Candidates who score highest points are then invited via Manitoba’s EOI pool regular draws.
