The Canadian province, Manitoba has opened its latest draw under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program on 19th December 2019. In this latest draw, the province has issued a total of 183 LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) for provincial nomination.
This EOI (Expression of Interest) based MPNP draw was the 79th draw and have issued invitations under different MPNP streams, including, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas Stream, and International Education Stream.
Out of a total of 183 LAAs, 149 were sent to candidates under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream with a minimum score requirement of 542 points. For candidates under the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, only 17 LAAs were issued directly via the Strategic Recruitment Initiative of MPNP with a minimum score requirement of 559 points.
Apart from these, the remaining 17 LAAs were sent to candidates under International Education Stream, but the minimum score requirement was not revealed by the province. This stream is divided under three sub-categories, including, Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway, and the Student Entrepreneur Pathway.

While, in the case of Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the candidates must have a full-time job offer from an employer in the province.Under the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, the province selects and nominates foreign workers who possess the required skills and qualifications to meet Manitoba’s labor market needs. And all the candidates were invited directly by the MPNP under its Strategic Recruitment Initiative. To qualify, candidates must demonstrate a strong connection to the province like family members living there, any previous education or work experience gained in the province or an invitation from Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of MPNP.
In order to be eligible to get an ITA for Manitoba s provincial nomination through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba as well as a Skilled Worker Overseas stream, candidates must register their EOI profile with the MPNP.
The MPNP s Express Entry Stream offers a quick pathway for those skilled workers who wish to apply for Canadian PR through Provincial Nominee Program. In this latest draw, 16 invitations were issued to those Express Entry candidates who have submitted a separate Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.
