In a draw held on 10th October 2019, the province of Manitoba has invited 193 candidates through three of its streams, including, Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas.
With this latest draw, the total number of LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) issued so far in the year 2019 by Manitoba has reached up to 6,574 LAAs through the above-listed streams.

Out of total 193 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in the latest draw, 24 candidates were invited from the federal Express Entry pool. The selected candidates were ranked on the basis of key profile factors, like, age, language ability, work experience, and education. Those with the highest-ranking were invited via a regular Express Entry draw.
While 147 LAAs were issued to the candidates from Skilled Worker in Manitoba category with a minimum score requirement of 567 points. The key selection criteria are to have a full-time job offer from an employer in Manitoba.
The remaining 22 LAAs were sent to candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas category with a minimum score requirement of 718 points. These 22 candidates were directly invited via Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The selected candidates were ranked as per the EOI (Expression of Interest) scoring system of Manitoba.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is designed to allow the province of Manitoba to welcome skilled workers, graduates and business people along with their families to settle down in the province.

Then you go through the assessment stage, where MPNP nominates you to submit a complete application to the Canadian Government to apply for a Canadian PR visa of your choice.
Generally, the time taken to process an application is between 12 to 15 months. The application goes through verification stages at both the federal as well as state level.
