In a latest MPNP draw held on July 9, Manitoba invited 277 Skilled Workers and International Students to apply for provincial nominations.
The province invited candidates under following Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Streams:
· Skilled Workers in Manitoba
· Skilled Workers Overseas
· International Education Stream

Candidates must demonstrate connections to Manitoba or got invitation via Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
Students must have in-demand skills. |
Please note, of the 277 LAAs issued, 48 were issued to Express Entry candidates who had valid Express Entry ID along with a job seeker validation code.
To get selected for LAA in this draw:
· Candidates were required to prove that they are fully licensed to work and are already working in a regulated occupation in Manitoba.
· Under Skilled Worker Overseas stream, a candidate's EOI was considered, only if:
ü They were Invited directly by the MPNP under its Strategic Recruitment Initiative
ü Candidates under Express Entry sub-stream were selected only if they had a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code along with verifiable experience in Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations.
· If a candidate's score was higher than the minimum score requirement, but he/she still failed to obtain a LAA, the reason could be:
ü He/she had mentioned about taking an approved language test (third-party) to prove language ability in English or French, but failed to submit a valid Test Number in EOI profile or the language test was no more valid.
ü He/she had mentioned about receiving an Invitation to Apply under MPNP's Strategic Initiative, but failed to submit a valid Invitation Number.
