Manitoba province has announced results for its 18th July draw under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Total 173 skilled workers were invited by the province to apply for a provincial nomination for a Canadian PR visa.
These LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) were Bifurcated under three MPNP Streams, including:
Moreover, 29 invitations were also issued to those candidates who have their profile in the federal Express Entry pool. Reason being, Express Entry as one of Canada’s key sources for selecting highly-skilled overseas workers. It manages a candidate pool for 3 main economic-class immigration categories of Canada, naming, the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Class.
As per a statement issued by MPNP, a total of 40 invitations were directly sent to Skilled Workers Overseas by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) under its Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
With this draw, the total number of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued to skilled worker candidates has reached up to 5,506 for the year 2019.
The MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) is considered as one of the most popular PNPs of Canada. Through this program, the Manitoba province nominates candidates and their families to migrate to Canada on the basis of the eligibility criteria and requirements set by the province.
Express Entry candidates who get a provincial nomination also enjoy an additional 600 points benefit against their overall ranking score, which in turn assures an ITA from the Canadian Government to apply for PR Visa.
For most of the MPNP skilled worker sub-categories, a candidate has to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI), in which he/she has to provide information about their age, work experience, education, proficiency in English or French language and their connections to Manitoba province. On the basis of information provided, MPNP scores their profiles.
