The latest Express Entry draw has been opened by the IRCC on 19th December 2019. In this latest draw, a total of 3,200 candidates have been invited and all those candidates who have scored minimum CRS score or above in this periodic Express Entry draw got their ITAs (Invitation to Apply) for Permanent Residency of Canada from the IRCC.
In this latest Express Entry draw, there was a marginal decrease in the cutoff CRS Score of 3 points, i.e. 469 points. All the candidates who have scored 469 or above points have received their ITAs.
The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada have applied November 14, 2019, at 08:41:33 UTC as the tie-break time and date for this draw held on 19th December. This clearly indicates that all those Express Entry candidates who have scored 469 points or above and who have submitted their Express Entry profile before the said date and time have received their ITAs from the IRCC.
Please note, all those candidates who have received their ITAs in the draw are requested to submit their final and complete application along with relevant documents to the IRCC within the next 60 days.
It was expected to see a downfall in the overall CRS score. Though, a fall was there, but was a mild drop of just 3 points, i.e. from 472 (December 11, 2019 draw) to 469.
This downfall of 3 points in this latest draw is a result of only eight days gap between two EE invitation rounds. Because, whenever two EE draws are held at shorter time intervals, a lesser number of new, high scoring candidates get time to enter into the pool, which in turn affects the minimum score requirement.
With this draw held in the second last week in 2019, the total number of Invitation issued by the IRCC to its Express Entry candidates had reached up to 85,300 ITAs issued for Canadian Permanent Residency. In spite of such a huge figure, the IRCC has issued 4,500 lesser ITAs in comparison to the number of ITAs issued in 2018, i.e. 89,800.
