The Canadian province, Ontario has issued first Express Entry-linked invitations of 2020 on 9th January. In this latest invitation round, the province has invited 242 candidates from the ONIP s Express Entry-linked stream.
All the invited candidates are now eligible to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence of Canada via OINP s Skilled Worker Stream (French-Speaking).
The targeted stream is one of the key ONIP s streams and allows the province to invite skilled foreign workers from an Express Entry pool.
Through OINP s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, the province invites those candidates who qualify as per the eligibility requirements of the stream.
All 242 candidates have received a Notification of Interest (NOI) in the January 9th January draw, which had declared the minimum CRS scores between 433 to 472. But, this time the cut-off score range is a point less than the minimum score requirement of 473 points in the latest Express Entry draw, which was held on January 8, 2020.
Additionally, all the candidates who have received their provincial nomination in the draw will get additional 600 points and will definitely get their invitation to apply for permanent residence of Canada in an upcoming Express Entry draw.
This stream is designed to give fair opportunities for French-speaking skilled workers who have strong English language abilities and are skilled enough to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario.
If candidates get a nomination, then they can apply to the Canada PR through IRCC.
