The Canadian province, Ontario has opened two Express Entry-aligned invitation rounds on 17th and 18th June, respectively.
In these latest invitation rounds, the province has invited candidates from the ONIP's Express Entry stream. All the invited candidates are now eligible to apply for a provincial nomination for PR of Canada.
In the 18th June OINP draw, the province had invited 143 bilingual candidates from the Express Entry system to apply for nomination.
The Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were issued to candidates who had Comprehensive Ranking System scores ranging between 424 and 436, and who met the Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW) stream eligibility requirements.
A total of 758 candidates have received a Notification of Interest (NOI) in the June 17, 2020, OINP draw.
This round of invitations has been recorded as one of the largest single draws since January 18, 2018, where candidates were invited under Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream.
All the candidates who have been invited had work experience as a tradesperson and a valid Express Entry profile in the pool. Also, the Comprehensive Ranking System score was ranging between 400 and 436.
All the candidates who have received their NOIs in both the draws have their profiles in the Express Entry pool.
Those candidates, who'll obtain their provincial nomination, will get additional 600 points. Such a huge CRS score will definitely guarantee them an invitation to apply for permanent residence of Canada in the upcoming Express Entry draw.
Ontario’s allocation for the year 2020 is 7,600 primary applicants. This allocation includes 250 temporary workers in intermediate skilled occupations or NOC skill level C.
In 2019 around half of the 7,391 PNP recipients under OINP were Express Entry candidates, let's wait and watch what would be the scenario by the end of 2020.
