In the latest PEI PNP draw, the province has invited candidates from Express Entry aligned, Labour Impact and Business Impact categories. The selected Express Entry candidates had submitted a separate EOI to the PEI PNP and are not eligible to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residency along with Labour Impact and Business Impact candidates.
With this latest PEI PNP draw, the total number of invites issued to eligible candidates has reached up to 1,177 for both Express Entry as well as Labour Impact candidates.
All the registered candidates were ranked on the basis of their individual CRS scores obtained on the basis of their key profile factors, including, age, qualification, English language proficiency, work experience, etc.
Those candidates who have attained the highest ranking were invited to apply for PEI s provincial nomination in this latest draw held on 17th October 2019.
Out of a total of 158 invitations, 146 invitations were sent to candidates registered under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories. While the remaining 12 invitations were sent to candidates registered under Business Impact: Work Permit Stream of Prince Edward Island.

In this latest draw, the minimum score requirements for all three categories was 112 points.

The PEI PNP targets those skilled foreign workers who can skillfully contribute to the labor market needs of the province. The PEI PNP is divided into two categories, including, Business Impact and Labour Impact.
Each of the above said categories are further divided into different subcategories or streams. Under Express Entry aligned stream, the PEI PNP issue invitations to eligible applicants to apply for a provincial nomination for the Canada permanent resident.
