In July, Canadian province, Prince Edward Island announced two invitation rounds and invited Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact immigration candidates for provincial nomination.
The first draw was opened on 10th July, where 8 Labour Impact and Express Entry candidates were invited. However, PEI PNP had not shared a detailed bifurcation of number of invitations send to candidates under each category.
While, in the second draw which was held on July 16, a large number candidates were invited in comparison to 10th July draw, i.e. 157. The invitations were issued under PEI PNP's Labour Impact and the Express Entry categories.
Apart from the above mentioned figures, PEI PNP had also invited 29 candidates under Business Impact category on 16th July and the minimum point cut-off for Business invitations was 117.

This stream operates in association with federal Express Entry System and consider those candidates for a provincial nomination who are already in the pool.
Express Entry Candidates who successfully obtain nominations get 600 additional points to their Comprehensive Ranking System score.
In order to be considered, all the applicants must create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the Prince Edward Island PNP.

The Business Impact: Work Permit Stream under PEI PNP is designed for those applicants who are eligible foreign entrepreneurs possessing management experience or business ownership.
This stream follows a point-based system and the minimum score requirement for lowest-ranked candidate in latest draw held on 16th July was 117 points.
