About PEI PNP
The PEI’s Express Entry Linked category works in association with Canada's Federal Express Entry system, which manage the pool of candidates for three key economic immigration programs, naming, Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
While, PEI's Labour Impact Category is for those foreign nationals who have a valid job offer from the province and a support from an employer in the PEI. This category is further divided into Skilled Worker, International Graduate and Critical Worker streams.
Lastly, the Business Impact: Work Permit Stream is for those individuals who want to own and operate a business in Prince Edward Island.
The selection criteria for provincial nomination is entirely on the basis of an applicant's skills, experience and intention to live and work in PEI permanently and how well he/she can contribute to provincial economy.
However, individuals and entrepreneurs who are qualified to work in areas where there is skill shortage in PEI's labour market are often prioritized.
