In a latest PEI PNP draw held on August 20, 2020, total 305 candidates were invited under key PEI PNP streams.
This draw was conducted after 11th August draw in which only 8 invitations were issued to candidates under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories.
However, this 20th August draw managed to set a new record of being the biggest ever draw conducted by Prince Edward Island PNP since inception.
In 20th August Draw, Out of 305 invitations, 28 were issued to candidates under Business Impact category.
While, the remaining 227 were issued to candidates under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories.
In 11th August Draw, 8 invitations were issued to candidates under Express Entry and Labour Impact categories.
Please note, the program has not yet shared a detailed breakdown as to how many invitations were issued to Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates.

In this draw those candidates were invited who are currently working and living in the province and had filed their EOI profiles (Expression of Interest) before June 2020.
In case of Express Entry candidates, each EOI profile is awarded with points on the basis of PEI's points grid and the highest-scoring candidates are then issued an invitation to apply for provincial nomination via monthly draws.
While, in case of Labour Impact Category, those applicants were invited who have a prior job offer in hand in PEI and have employer's support.
This category is further divided into 3 streams, including, Skilled Worker, Critical Worker & International Graduate.
Lastly, the Business Impact candidates required at least 112 EOI score to obtain invitations under the Work Permit Stream, which is designed for foreign entrepreneurs planning to operate or own a business in the province.
