Canada has made it s Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot open to new applications and will now allow employers from 11 participating communities to recruit eligible skilled foreign workers. Those 11 communities are a part of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia province of Canada.
All the candidates who have got a recommendation letter from any one of the participating communities will become eligible to apply for Canada PR visa.
To take the process further, the government has also developed local websites that are solely dedicated to the submit and accept RNIP applications. These websites have gone online since November 15, 2019, in the below-mentioned communities:
Well, right now websites have been developed only for 3 communities. But, as per the IRCC, it is expected that functional websites will be developed soon for the remaining eight participating communities as well.
It is a step-by-step process, as explained below:
Step 1: If you have opted to immigrate through the RNIP (Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot), then you must have an eligible employment offer from any approved employer of any participating community.
Step 2: Once you obtain an eligible offer, then you can apply for a community recommendation.
Step 3: After getting approval for a community recommendation, you have to submit your application to the IRCC for permanent residence of Canada.
Step 4:The community then review your application
According to a statement issued by Peter Liang, a spokesperson for IRCC, " an average of approximately 100 principal applicants and their immediate family members could be welcomed in each participating community, “but this will vary by community. The number of permanent residents coming to Canada through the pilot will depend on the needs of the participating communities and the number of newcomers they can welcome.” As a whole, the pilot can approve approximately 2,750 primary applicants and their family members for Canadian PR on an annual basis.
