SINP Application Fee and Proof of Settlement Funds to be Revised - New SINP Fee is Applicable from July 22, 2019

SINP Application fees to be revised from July 22, 2019

From 22nd July 2019, the province of Saskatchewan will increase the application processing fee from $300 to $350 for the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP). This fee revision would be applicable to all SINP s sub-categories including, ISW- Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry subcategory.

The IRCC has also announced to increase its settlement fund amounts for SINP. From October 1, 2019, all Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry applicants are required to meet new settlement fund requirements.

The table drawn below shows an updated list of the minimum amount an applicant requires to immigrate to Canada:

 To calculate an applicant s family size, he/she must include

  • Themselves
  • Their spouse or partner
  • Their dependent children
  • Their spouse’s dependent children

An applicant can include his/her spouse or dependent children even if:

  • They are Canadian citizens or permanent residents
  • They are not coming with the primary applicant to Canada

About SINP

The SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) offers candidates an easy way to immigrate to Canada.  Through the SINP, the province of Saskatchewan invites residency applications from aspiring immigrants who wish to live and work in Saskatchewan and nominates eligible applicants to the federal government of Canada, so that they can apply for a permanent residency visa in Canada.

There are four categories under SINP, including:

  1. International Skilled Worker Category: Designed for foreign skilled workers who wish to live and work in Saskatchewan province
  2. Saskatchewan Experience Category: Designed for foreign nationals who are already living and working in Saskatchewan province
  3. Entrepreneur Category: Designed for entrepreneurs who are planning to start their own business in Saskatchewan province
  4. Farm Category: Designed for experienced farmers who are planning to buy and run a farm in Saskatchewan province

There are two main sub-categories under International Skilled Worker Category of SINP, including:

  1. International Skilled Worker: Occupation In-Demand: It is designed for those skilled workers who don t have any job offer in Saskatchewan and are highly-skilled in one of the province s in-demand occupations
  2. International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry: It is designed for those skilled workers who wish work and live in Saskatchewan and have submitted their profile in the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) Express Entry Pool.
